b"Restoring these LP tracks is really difficult, especially when you've got at least 51% headroom on the signal so the dynamic processors don't know what to deal with, RMS helps but it doesn't work just on it's own,you have to interpolate the worst bits first then use profiled filters to remove extraneous noise and be very carefull not to degrade the signal, EQ pass for prescence, max RMS then general de-noise and enhance leaving just enough ambience to hold it together. Phew!"
