Such a recommendation is applicable to pneumococcal vaccines whereby pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) is recommended for all adults 65 and older, while the administration of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) is based on shared decision-making. In this podcast, we will discuss the ACIP recommendations and the use of shared decision-making as it applies to pneumococcal vaccines.
