how to be at peace. you gotta focus on the good stuff. you\\u2019re making music to make the people in your life happy. you\\u2019re making music to communicate how you feel to the people around you. you\\u2019re writing so you can learn about yourself and feel closer to yourself. you\\u2019re writing to remember, to sort out your life and how you feel and to internalize the memory of those feelings in a way that you can access in the future. you\\u2019re making records to have a document of this time. your voice, body, and brain will change and now is the only time you\\u2019ll be able to do this. you\\u2019re making a record so the people who care about you can feel close to you when you\\u2019re not around. you\\u2019re making a record so someone in a different time or place will find it meaningful and feel less alone. some of these things might not happen for thirty years, but you can only make the record now.
