Abedin has been Clinton\u2019s right-hand woman for over two decades. Initially, she began her career as an intern in the White House, later serving as a personal advisor to Clinton during her successful campaign to become the New York Senator.

She also worked for both of Clinton\u2019s presidential campaigns: in 2008 when Clinton lost the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama, and in 2016 when she won the nomination \u2013 the first woman to do so \u2013 later losing to Donald Trump.
