During the Pandemic, she started the Before You Go Podcast, a series of interviews with people 100 years old and over, and shared some of the amazing stories she’s heard so far. She also told us Title VII, the narrative feature she adapted, produced and directed (over the course of 8 days!) which grapples with violations of sexual harassment laws in the workplace. Moreover, we were so excited to hear about the children’s book she co-wrote with her mom called Ella’s Sunday Song, which explores Ella’s journey to discovering codes within Spirituals. Nicole is a powerful artist who is constantly creating, and her passion, warmth, and boundless enthusiasm shine through in this episode.
