107 - Amber (3/11 Day)

Published: March 11, 2019, 7 a.m.

Happy 3/11, Popettes! Obviously, we couldn’t let this day pass without us talking about 311, which Analise lovingly dubs as “underloved, like Smash Mouth.” “Amber” is the hit of choice and Omar and Analise talk about why this song is so gentle and earnest (which is probably why there are some insecure haters out there) and why it’s beautiful AF. Also this song was a formative queer song for Analise back in 2003, so there’s that.
