July 28, 2021.\nToday is July 28, 2022.\nOne year later to the day, we\u2019ve finally reached the moment many thought would never come: A Manchin-approved reconciliation bill \u2014 one he and Schumer brokered in secret after many thought any hope of a sweeping deal was dead \u2014 is on the Senate\u2019s doorstep, and it includes provisions for climate change, tax hikes on corporations and health care subsidies.
