Monday on Political Rewind:\xa0The first batch of COVID-19 vaccines is headed to hundreds of distribution centers in all 50 states. Gov.\xa0Brian Kemp last week said the first round in Georgia will go to long-term care facilities and front-line medical workers.\xa0He warned residents to stay vigilant and continue to practice safety precautions like wearing a mask.\n\nInterim dean at Georgia State University's School of Public Health Dr. Rodney Lyn said the vaccine will roll out in increments.\n\n"There is a greater need than vaccine available at the moment," Lyn said.\xa0"We expect most to be vaccinated by the summer, but it will be a phased approach with health care workers and the most vulnerable vaccinated first."\n\nReported cases of COVID-19 are surging in the state.
