Voting access advocates are expressing concerns this legislation will make voting harder, and describe it as an attempt at voter suppression by state Republicans.\n\nBut first, we remember the life of civil rights leader Vernon Jordan. The Atlanta-born activist and powerbroker fought to desegregate Georgia\u2019s universities and later served as an adviser to President Bill Clinton.
