Malcolm is best known as a leading influence in the F&B industry and cofounded the multi-award winning Maximal Concepts. He has opened over 35 different concepts in his career and is best known for the flagship restaurant brand Mott 32, one of the most awarded Chinese restaurants in the world.

A passionate environmental filmmaker and social entrepreneur, he was heavily involved in the production of\xa0 \u201cA Plastic Ocean\u201d, described by Sir David Attenborough as \u201cthe most important film of our time\u201d.\xa0 His follow-on film \u201cThe Last Glaciers\u201d is set for release in 2021 and will be the most comprehensive film ever produced about the relationship between climate change, mountain environments, and glaciers. One of the world's few experts in paralpinism, Malcolm was also recently selected as the first paraglider, speed flyer, and filmmaker to join UN Environment\u2019s campaign \u2018Mountain Heroes\u2019.
