On this episode of the Planned Solutions Incorporated Podcast, The economic and financial data for the months of April and May are likely to be very bad. However, this does not necessarily mean that stock prices will give back the gains since the March 23rd lows. The data is expected to be bad and therefore prices already reflect those negative expectations. Instead, the level of stock prices will likely depend on whether the data exceeds or falls short of investor’s expectations. And, Most people think of life insurance as a way to provide financially for dependents should household income be negatively affected by a death in the family. However, life insurance can be used to fund a variety of financial obligations that an individual may owe. This includes estate planning., business continuity, debt repayment, and more. Also,The IRS has redesigned its website to allow taxpayers to inquire about the status of their stimulus payments. This comes after complaints that the previous version of the online tool was not helpful as it provided most taxpayers with the same message stating that their payment status was not available. The IRS says the updated online tool corrects for the previous issues and will give individuals more accurate information about the status of their stimulus payments. Plus a look at the Planned Solutions Incorporated Office Bulletin Board- As financial planners we have found that some topics or client questions come up quite often. These are topics that we have thought about often and have strong views as to how clients can better understand the issue, weigh their options, and make better informed decisions. Recently, Chase decided to put these topics in writing. The project started as a series of white papers on various financial planning topics but morphed into a book. After years of work, Chase recently published Financial Planning Insights. This book contains a series of 50 short chapters each focusing on different financial planning topics that may help individuals make more informed financial decisions.
