Deletta Gillespie grew up surrounded by music; both of her parents were musicians. She has been singing in churches since she was a child, and is an incredibly powerful blues singer. She says, "Music is a gift. Music changes the vibrational frequency of wherever you are." She believes everyone can sing and also that "You can literally hum or sing your pain away."
