\\ncharges\\xa0against\\xa0former\\xa0North\\xa0Dakota\\xa0congressional candidate\\xa0Chase\\xa0Iron Eyes\\xa0in\\xa0his\\xa0case
\\nresulting\\xa0from\\xa0protests\\xa0of\\xa0the\\xa0Dakota\\xa0Access\\xa0pipeline. Chief Iron\\xa0Eyes,\\xa0an\\xa0attorney\\xa0who\\xa0works
\\nfor\\xa0the\\xa0Lakota\\xa0People\\u2019s\\xa0Law\\xa0Project,\\xa0was\\xa0facing\\xa0a\\xa0maximum\\xa0of\\xa0six\\xa0years\\xa0in\\xa0state\\xa0prison
\\nafter\\xa0his\\xa0arrest\\xa0for\\xa0alleged\\xa0criminal trespass\\xa0and\\xa0incitement\\xa0of\\xa0a\\xa0riot\\xa0near\\xa0the
\\nStanding\\xa0Rock\\xa0Sioux\\xa0reservation\\xa0on\\xa0February 1,\\xa02017.

\\npeople\\xa0to\\xa0trespass\\xa0on\\xa0treaty\\xa0land," stated Chief Iron Eyes. Iron\\xa0Eyes\\u2019 attorneys\\xa0filed\\xa0documents\\xa0on\\xa0Monday\\xa0proving\\xa0that\\xa0his\\xa0arrest\\xa0occurred\\xa0on
\\ntreaty\\xa0land\\xa0never\\xa0ceded\\xa0by\\xa0the\\xa0Sioux tribe. The\\xa0state\\xa0of\\xa0North\\xa0Dakota\\xa0ruled
\\nweeks\\xa0ago\\xa0that\\xa0this\\xa0land\\xa0had\\xa0never\\xa0been
\\nacquired\\xa0nor\\xa0legally\\xa0owned\\xa0by\\xa0pipeline parent\\xa0company\\xa0Energy\\xa0Transfer
