Who is\\xa0Micah\\xa0Brown?\\xa0

Micah is a\\xa0self-proclaimed\\xa0visionary technologist with an intersection of skills consisting of data and algorithm understanding, HCI-centric digital technologies, financial services, financial engineering and media services.\\xa0He has over 10 years of experience (up to\\xa0the\\xa0SVP\\xa0level) across companies like Aon, Barclays, NBC and Viacom. Micah has a deep technological understanding and a strong commitment to social causes; at the center of\\xa0Centiment\\xa0and\\xa0FilmFundr\\xa0is\\xa0the need to level the playing field in media for minorities.\\xa0

  • Terri talks about the importance of getting LPs to invest not because it\\u2019s a diversity play, but because it\\u2019s a good business play.\\xa0 Terri is concerned about the funding gap in later stages for these startups.\\xa0\\xa0\\xa0
