In 2007, emergency medicine physician Dr. Lisa Jenks opened Genesis MedSpa. Since it’s opening, Genesis has grown tremendously, moving from a 4-treatment room facility into a 10-room facility in 2012 and then adding an additional three treatment rooms in 2016. Under her direction, Genesis has won the BBB’s ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ award three times.

In addition to providing great medspa services for her clients, Lisa consults with clients who want to start their own medspas.

Lisa has been very busy adding new services to her clinic. It’s amazing to hear about the new techniques that are being developed in the field of aesthetics. It seems to produce an endless supply of new services to add to a medspa.

And a medspa is a popular cash-only clinical business that offers the opportunity to mix procedural services with medical and nonmedical.

Lisa also mentioned her new consulting business, which can be found at Dermaestheticconsulting.com. In addition to teaching clients the business and technical sides of starting a medspa, they also train and certify users in certain procedures. And their consulting clients include physicians, aestheticians, APN, and PAs.
