Mike Johnston, CPhT is the Founder and CEO of the National Pharmacy Technician Association (NPTA).\\xa0 Under Mike\\u2019s strategic vision and leadership, NPTA has become the world\\u2019s largest professional membership organization for pharmacy technicians, with over 80,000 members in the United States and from around the world who practice in a diverse variety of practice settings, including community pharmacy, health-system pharmacy, federal pharmacy services, purchasing, and education, among others. NPTA is committed to advancing the pharmacy technician career through education, advocacy and support.

Mike is the host of CPhT Connect Podcast, the Publisher of CPhT Connect Magazine, and the author of nine best-selling pharmacy technician textbooks and training manuals. In addition, Mike serves as the only voting pharmacy technician member of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). Mike\\u2019s mission is to serve as a respected and trusted advocate for pharmacy technicians and to work towards the elimination of preventable medication errors. He holds a B.S. Degree with honors in Business Management and Ethics from Dallas Christian College.
