How I named my company

May has been a very busy month for me. \\xa0

The last two weeks have been filled with plenty of activity.\\xa0 I\\u2019m still adjusting to being able to focus on my voiceover business full-time.\\xa0 My husband is doing a great job helping with the kids so I can audition and direct-market to potential clients.

I really love what I\\u2019m doing with my voiceover business and the podcast.\\xa0 I\\u2019ve met so many people because of both.\\xa0 It\\u2019s been such a great experience.\\xa0 My guests are amazing, and I love to hear how they use their voices.\\xa0 Plus, their network of supporters has liked, commented on, or shared the podcast across several social media platforms.\\xa0 I appreciate the engagement, and it\\u2019s fun to watch this podcast of mine touch lives. \\xa0

Throughout the month, I\\u2019ve met and connected with a number of voice actors too.\\xa0 One has even become a medical narration workout buddy.\\xa0 Time zones are tricky, but the practice is helping me stay sharp and get better. \\xa0

Every other week, I meet with my voice actor accountability buddies.\\xa0 A hot topic that came up last week was Source Connect.\\xa0 I\\u2019m giving more serious thought to getting connected.\\xa0 Tim Keenan\\u2019s webinar helped. \\xa0

My husband is updating his resume and LinkedIn profile.\\xa0 He will be searching for a job soon.

I came up with my company name 3 years ago before I knew about the voiceover industry.\\xa0\\xa0Looking back on it, it was a small miracle. \\xa0

Using my identity as a pharmacist in my business was important to me.\\xa0 Having the word \\u201cPharmacist\\u201d in my company title was important to me. \\xa0

I knew I wanted to use my \\u201cvoice\\u201d to do something.\\xa0 I put the words \\u201cPharmacist\\u201d and \\u201cVoice\\u201d together, and the name \\u201cThe Pharmacist\\u2019s Voice\\u201d organically came about. \\xa0

Using my voice is very important.\\xa0 Having a voice is so very important.\\xa0 My husband and I have a 17-year-old non-verbal son with autism.\\xa0 We are his voice.\\xa0 I know how important it is to have a voice, and I want to communicate important messages.\\xa0 \\xa0

I can use my voice in the spoken word or in the written word.\\xa0 My company name is versatile.\\xa0 I absolutely love it, and it is very personal as well.\\xa0 I feel very blessed and very thankful to have the company name The Pharmacist\\u2019s Voice.\\xa0 I can combine my voice and my identity as a pharmacist to do work that I love.\\xa0 My work allows me to support my husband from home and raise our children in the unique way they need to be raised.
