Joining me today is a gentleman with a name you may not recognise, but trust me you’ve heard his drumming contributions many times !!
I’m absolutely thrilled to be joined by UK session drumming great... Graham Broad
Graham & I chat about his incredible career, including the 26 years holding down the drum seat with Roger Waters - contributing to many of Roger’s studio albums and World tours - including the legendary 1990 Berlin performance of ‘The Wall’ .
We cram so much into this hour including some wonderful stories about his drum lessons with Max Abrams & Lloyd Ryan, through to his incredible session career in the late 70's and 80's... including playing on huge hits for Tina Turner, Wham!, AHA!, Boy George & Culture Club, ABC, Go West , The Beach Boys... and many more ! !
We also talk about Graham’s long term gig with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings.
This interview was a total joy to do and is crammed full of amazing and funny stories - Graham has done very few interviews over his drumming career, so please enjoy it!
Mr Broad - thank you for giving up your time !
