I\u2019ve got music and a shoulder\u2026\n\nAs this brutal year comes to an end, I find myself wondering about what lies ahead. For months I\u2019ve made conscious choices to focus my energy inward instead of spiralling down the toxic terrain around us. I\u2019ve watched friends disappear into darkness through fear, anxiety, and depression. We\u2019re struggling to hold on, find purpose, and even give ourselves a reason to try. \n\nI find myself laying on the floor staring at the ceiling searching for answers about what the future holds for me, my family, and those around me. Personally, I struggle with the meaning of \u201csuccess\u201d. What does it mean to be a successful artist, husband, father, son, friend\u2026.? \n\nStraight up, this shit sucks. This year sucked. I hate what it\u2019s done to humanity. I despise what we\u2019ve been doing to each other. I\u2019m sick to think of the repercussions when this is all over.\n\nBut\u2026 one day it will be over. \n\nAs I sit here with my words I\u2019m thinking about you. Yeah, you\u2026\n\nI need you to know that if you\u2019re struggling with thing, I\u2019m here. I promise you, you\u2019re not alone and you don\u2019t need to struggle feeling that way. I don\u2019t have the answers and I may not be able to make things better, but I can assure you with all my heart, you can at least have someone if you need someone. Don\u2019t even hesitate. I will answer. \n\nThis is what I\u2019ve got right now. \n\nI\u2019ve got music to help sooth the soul and help take you away for a few hours\u2026 and I\u2019ve got a strong shoulder for you to lean on if you need one. \n\nStay strong. Be there for one another. Be a pillar for those that need one. Be as positive as possible for yourself and for those around you.
