Abstract: Escape responses, orienting reflexes, and social behaviors in Xenopus laevis tadpoles have been well documented in the literature (Lee et al. 2010; Roberts et al. 2000; Simmons et al. 2004; Katz et al. 1981; Villinger and Waldman 2012).
