b'Talked with Mike Durkee, Exec. Dir., Wounded Veteran\'s Relief Fund formerly Wounded Warriors of SF and Chase Malcolm, Board Member, Teach the Beach. Wounded Veterans Relief Fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing immediate emergency financial assistance to eligible disabled veterans who have served in the wars and conflicts since 9/11. They work in conjunction with the V.A. Hospital to determine need. Teach the Beach is a 501c3 designed to create awareness and educate people in our respective communities on ways they can conserve our local oceans and environments. Both charities have events on November 18th. Wounded Veterans have their 3rd Annual Running for Heroes 5K in the morning at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, FL from 7a-Noon and then Teach the Beach is holding their 3rd Annual BandsandBrews event at Carlin Park in Jupiter, FL starting at 1pm.
