b"Talked with Barbara Shafer and Dr. Megan Van Ella about the Hanley Foundation. Their mission is to provide substance abuse prevention and education programs for parents, caregivers and school-age children. In addition, the foundation provides financial aid scholarships for patients who could not otherwise afford addiction treatment. As part of their outreach, Project C4OPE, Barbara will be leading a free seminar at Origins Resource Center on 4/26 in the evening to help educate folks and to connect families who've experienced the loss of a loved one due to opioid overdose, survived an overdose, or are at high risk for overdose.
