\\nChris Banks is a Canadian poet and the author of seven collections of poetry, most recently Alternator with Nightwood Editions in 2021. His first full-length collection, Bonfires, was aw2arded the Jack Chalmers Award for Poetry by the Canadian Authors Association in 2004. Bonfires was also a finalist for the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award for best first book of poetry in Canada. His poetry has appeared in The New Quarterly, Arc Magazine, The Antigonish Review, Event, The Malahat Review, GRIFFEL, American Poetry Journal and PRISM International, among other publications. He lives and writes in Kitchener, Ontario.

\\nAndrew French\\xa0is an author from North Vancouver, British Columbia. They have published two chapbooks,\\xa0Poems for Different Yous\\xa0(Rose Garden Press, 2021) and\\xa0Do Not Discard Ashes\\xa0(845 Press, 2020). Andrew holds a BA in English from Huron University College at Western University and an MA in English from UBC. They write poems, book reviews, and host this very podcast.
