Jen Currin lives on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the Halq\\u0313em\\xe9ylem-speaking peoples, including the Qayqayt, Kwikwetlem, Musqueam, and Kwantlen Nations (New Westminster, BC, a suburb of Vancouver). They teach in the Creative Writing and English Upgrading Departments at\\xa0Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Jen\\u2019s most recent poetry collection is\\xa0Trinity Street\\xa0(House of Anansi, 2023). They have published four other collections of poetry:\\xa0The Sleep of Four Cities\\xa0(Anvil Press, 2005);\\xa0Hagiography\\xa0(Coach House, 2008);\\xa0The Inquisition Yours\\xa0(Coach House, 2010), which won the\\xa02011 Audre Lorde Award for Lesbian Poetry\\xa0and was shortlisted for the\\xa02011 Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize\\xa0(B.C. Book Prizes), the\\xa0Lambda Literary Award in Poetry, and a\\xa0ReLit Award; and\\xa0School\\xa0(Coach House, 2014), which was a finalist for a\\xa02015 ReLit Award, the\\xa0Dorothy Livesay Prize\\xa0and the\\xa0Pat Lowther Award.\\xa0Their chapbook\\xa0The Ends\\xa0was published by Nomados in 2013. Jen\\u2019s first collection of stories,\\xa0Hider/Seeker\\xa0(Anvil Press, 2018), was awarded a\\xa0Canadian Independent Book Award, was named a\\xa02018\\xa0Globe and Mail\\xa0Best Book, and was shortlisted for a\\xa0ReLit Award.

Andrew French\\xa0is an author from North Vancouver, British Columbia. They have published two chapbooks,\\xa0Poems for Different Yous\\xa0(Rose Garden Press, 2021) and\\xa0Do Not Discard Ashes\\xa0(845Press, 2020). Andrew holds a BA in English from Huron University College at Western University and an MA in English from UBC. They write poems, book reviews, and host this very podcast.
