As coronavirus cases increase, Oregon hospitals are bracing for an influx of patients.
New restrictions on some businesses are now in place and Oregon Governor Kate Brown is asking everyone to avoid social gatherings and stay home. It’s all to help curb this new surge of COVID-19 cases. There are more coronavirus patients requiring hospital care - including life support – than at any other time in the pandemic. OPB Reporter Amelia Templeton talked with one of the people charged with making sure there’s an I-C-U bed available for every patient who needs one.
