What Is Transformation

One Sharp Sword - Cutting Through To What Matters Most with Dr Wayne Pernell is meant to be thought-provoking and inspiring.

This show offers no advice or counsel related to law, finance, or health (either physical or mental).  You are listening at your own discretion and interpreting what you hear in your own way.  This show is meant for entertainment purposes and no claims of enhancement or enrichment of any sort are indicated or implied.  Nope, this show doesn’t promise to make you better looking.  But hey… look at you now!  Listen in!  Enjoy!

Most people are “allergic” to change. They like the idea of being different or having a different lifestyle, but getting there seems so out of reach.

It’s time to get comfortably uncomfortable. Like when you first start a new exercise program - it’s not easy and it might actually not feel all that great. What makes it easier? What happens that it becomes really good?

Three things to do -

First, listen. Listen to the voices in your head. You want something but these other voices compete and tell you that there are other more important things to do. Or, you hear (feel) that you might not be worthy of the end result. Or, you begin to question whether the work is worth it.

The question is whether the outcome is worth it.

Next plan. If you have a plan for gaining more customers (that means reaching out in a way you haven’t before), or shedding some pounds (set out your workout clothes, set an alarm), or whatever you’re after - you need to plan to do it.

And the third step is to practice. Do The Thing and do it again and do it again.

This is where it gets uncomfortable until, at some point, it’s no longer uncomfortable.

Whether you are building your business or growing yourself personally to trans-form is to cross to a new shape. That’s a new shape of your life. And, you’re worth it!
