Stephanie Thoma focuses on helping others make connections; she helps introverts feel confident and she redefines networking.
Overcoming social anxiety, she fought broad limiting beliefs and brings her broad transformational journey to her work.
- We’re all a mix of introversion and extroversion
- Activate based on what you love
- The “solitude sandwich” is how some of us refuel (go out and give, withdraw to regain focus, go out and give)
- The “Big Light Secret” is the opposite of the downward spiraling big dark secret. As confidence builds, people shine.
- Networking should never be fake.
-
- Stay away from openers like the weather and traffic. Those can set a potentially negative tone for the conversation. Instead, ask about lighter things while acknowledging the situation: “What’s your favorite thing about Shelter In Place?”
- Networking has expanded because we’re virtual. You can easily be at an event with people from all over the world!
- Stephanie believes in connection: Connection - Confidence - Consciousness
- Then she said something else akin to something I say all the time, “Stay Curious!” and she asks us to pay attention to how the external is affecting the internal.

Final words? “Trust Yourself,” she says.
