A Big Surprise – OHS 118

Published: Aug. 28, 2019, 5:58 a.m.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not get some unique and cool reactions from kids and children noticing I only have one hand. It is simply a quality of the life I live. Spending my entire life with one hand has allowed me to be comfortable with the stares and the reactions. Over time I have learned to respond in many different ways which are also weird and cool. What I believe is important is connecting with the kids at their level in a way that lets them know I like myself and everything is OK. As a result I tend to be very open and honest and approachable. This part of my life certainly keeps me on my toes in public and creates the potential to have an incredible amount of fun. This is something I learned a very long time ago and something I think about each and every time I walk out my door. Thanks for listening!
