You are\\xa0are pulled in many directions and feel overwhelmed with the responsibilities of job, family, kids, volunteering, Christmas parties,\\xa0and everything else that is on your plate. It\'s a time when you may\\xa0feel like there is\\xa0too much going on and you\\u2019re holding on by a thread. And then your spouse asks you something like\\u2026 What\\u2019s wrong with you? How are you doing? What\'s going on? Since everything\\xa0is at the tipping point, you lock the true answer inside and simply say, \\u201cI\\u2019m Fine\\u201d. More often than not when you say, "I\\u2019m FINE", it\\u2019s usually a code word for I\\u2019m feeling broken in some area of my life. When you say "I\\u2019m Fine" you put a wall, an obstacle in your marriage. Then one of you checks out. Either you or your spouse.\\xa0 I\\u2019m FINE leads to disconnect because you aren\\u2019t sharing what\\u2019s going on with you I\\u2019m FINE leads to resentment because you won\\u2019t let this person, YOUR SPOUSE, into your world.
