There was Ted Wolf whom he hadn\\u2019t seen in ten years although in college he\\u2019d been by far his closest friend and so of course he brought him home to dinner. Gwen managed to be quite charming even though it was the maid\\u2019s night off. She didn\\u2019t even kick about the oven and that\\u2019s how it started off just like that, just like any pleasant casual, little evening. . .
