It was a long ride from Dodge up to Ponka Creek in the Dakota Territory and Matt Dillon killed a good horse getting there but he caught Lee Trombow. He was asleep in a lump of willow and he took him without a fight. Trumbow was wanted for murdering a man but his brother Dolph was determined to get him free without a trial and hires a gunman to kill Dillon.
