In 2010, Norel Mancuso, CEO of Social House, Inc. saw social media becoming a huge part of people's lives and in turn, the need for businesses to pay attention to social media in order to survive. So, she turned that idea into Social House. As a young, gay woman living in Los Angeles, Norel didn't have much more than an idea and her phone to show companies that social media would change the way brands interacted with consumers. She didn't let any of those things get in her way as she built her company from the ground up.To this day, she not only overcomes the pitfalls of being a woman CEO but also battles the stereotypes of being a gay leader in the business community. Going into her 2nd decade in business, Norel has built an award-winning company and emerged as an industry leader. She has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world in the retail and beauty market. Brands such as Pepsi, Revlon, SONOS, Playboy, and L’Oreal (to name a few) entrust Norel to be the brainchild behind their presence online and on social media.
