Say Something REAL

Have you ever been suggested to use affirmations and thought to yourself, does this even work? What is all this nonsense about?

I felt that way too! Like someone is asking me to speak words to myself in order to believe something to be true... little did I know of the immense power of words, and how they could transform someone's life. 

\n

Positivity is something that sits well with some people, and is completely BS for others... so what is the truth behind this concept? 

\n

My interpretation on positivity is; that it should work for you and not be a delusional avoidance mechanism to run from reality.

\n

What does all of this mean? Sometimes, we listen to affirmations, or speak to ourselves in a way that we "feel" is helping us, however, we are avoiding and even rejecting how we truly feel in the process of doing this. In this podcast episode, I talk about constant positivity as a form of avoidance, and how to use words that actually serve you, so you are TRULY healing, growing and evolving.
