Today in Ireland, 91% of children attend schools under Catholic patronage. Labour TD Aodhan O’Riordan has said “we can’t read a report like Mother and Baby Homes and think that Ireland has fundamentally changed, when it hasn’t.” So, it time to fully separate church and state?
