Ireland\u2019s greenhouse gas emissions increased by 4.7% in 2021 compared to 2020. \n\nHowever, the figure for 2021 is still over 1% higher than before the pandemic in 2019 and far short of the 7% annual decrease needed to meet our 2030 climate target commitments. \n\nFor more on the findings of the report, Vincent spoke to Mary Frances Rochford, EPA Programme Manager.
