Ireland is likely to experience cooling arising from the sustained weakening of the Gulf Stream, unlike many parts of the world enduring rising temperatures due to climate change according to a new report published by the Marine Institute. \n \nDr. Gerard McCarthy of the ICARUS climate research unit in the department of geography at Maynooth University and report co-author broke down the findings of this report.
