An aid agency working in Sudan has warned levels of hunger and malnutrition in Sudan after a year of civil war are much worse than previously thought. M\xe9decins sans Fronti\xe8res and other organisations say the breakdown of governance and infrastructure mean a famine is now almost inevitable. The United Nations has said Sudan could become "the world's worst hunger crisis". We speak to an UN official in Darfur.
