Beyond the Tournament with Youthworks
09/19/23: Joel Heitkamp and Jack Michaels are joined in the studio by J'Neil Gibson and Melvin Sampson to talk about "Beyond the Tournament" taking place this weekend. The tournament is on September 23rd from 1:30PM \u2013 9:00PM at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 400 28th St, S Moorhead MN.\xa0
\nTheir purpose is: To open a fun and positive space for youth, families and our community to unite and enjoy top high school prospects compete in an eight-team basketball tournament. The primary focus, beyond basketball or the tournament, is to focus on youth giving back to their community and their community seeing them partake in the act.
\nEvery youth participating in this free event is mandated to donate at least one sporting item (shoes, bottoms, tops, equipment etc..) to the donation table in order to be eligible to compete.\xa0
