Welcome to the first episode of New Agent Mindset, a podcast specifically for new real estate agents. My name is John Pena and I became a licensed realtor in January of 2020, a couple weeks before the global pandemic blew up in the United States. My original intention was to start a book club locally, the New Agent Book Club, to get together with other new agents and learn from the best books out there like "Sell It Like Serhant" by Ryan Serhant, "The ONE Thing" by Gary Keller, and "The Greatest Salesman in the World" by Og Mandino. However, a book club during Coronavirus was not going to fly!

Instead, I realized that there most certainly are other agents out there just getting started, so why not create a podcast and community for them? I plan to share the best strategies, tools, tips, and advice for new real estate agents while building a community to support all of us. In addition to the weekly podcast episodes that will be released, there is also a Youtube channel (New Agent Mindset), a website (newagentmindset.com), and a private Facebook group (you guessed it, New Agent Mindset).

This first episode tells my story and explains some of the content that I plan to cover.
