Hi guys welcome back to the mystery & comedy old time radio podcast. Please welcome to the show tonight writer, producer and author Ms Lucille Fletcher. She started her career in 1938 doing a variety of odd jobs for CBS before writing for old time radio plays. Two of her most famous radio. The first one is called The Hitchhiker which was performed by mr. Orson Welles. And the second one which is one of Miss Lucille Fletcher's best radio play which appeared on the big screen in 1948 it's called sorry wrong number. It starred famous actress Miss Agnes moorehead. She also went on later on in her career to become a screenwriter for four other famous movies and later on became a novelist. Miss Lucille Fletcher enjoyed her career and spending time with her family until passing away in the year 2000 at the age of 88 years old. but tonight miss Lucille Fletcher comes to the show to chill our spines. In this first episode which appeared on suspense it is called dark journey and stars Ms Kathy Lewis and Miss Nancy Kelly. In this episode a woman is traveling on a train to see a friend who she has not seen In over 15 years. And in the second episode it is called the nightman. In this episode a young girl goes to a prison to make sure her mothers murderer is still locked up. Because for the past 10 years she has been struggling getting past her mother's death. But unbeknownst to her she does not know that the murderer is closer than she thinks. In this final episode which stars Mr Elliott Lewis it is called bad dreams which appeared on the old time radio program the clock.
