Happy Thanksgiving part 2
hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy Old Time radio podcast please join me as I welcome to the show my Thanksgiving part 2 episode. in this first episode starting Ms Margaret O'Brien she plays the little girl who is one day watching her mother cook a turkey when her mother asked her to go and get some cranberry relish that the little girl's Aunt has made. as the little girl comes back home she hears a sudden noise coming from the lot where she and her friends play. it's a woman screaming for help so the little girl goes home and no One believes her story. then her friend comes and helps her with digging up the dirt for the woman to get out. and it is called the screaming woman and it appeared on the old time radio show suspense. in this next episode starting Mr William Bendix as Mr Riley in the comedy show The Life of Riley. in this the Riley children are all having plans to not have Thanksgiving at home. but at their girlfriend or boyfriend's home. so we mr Riley is so discouraged by his family he goes off in a half and Mrs Riley tells their son Junior about why Thanksgiving is so important to his father. and it is called Life of Riley Thanksgiving. and in this final episode we find the gildersleeve family in the middle of a dilemma they have invited many soldiers and other people to their Thanksgiving dinner. but the only thing is that they do not have a turkey. so the house cook finds out who won the raffle at her church and it is someone that Mr Gildersleeve cannot stand and it's the county judge. so Mr Gildersleeve swallows his pride and ask the judge if he wouldn't mind coming over for Thanksgiving dinner because they don't have a turkey. so the judge ends up going to the Thanksgiving dinner. and the title of that episode is the great Gildersleeve Thanksgiving.
