Moorehead's early career was unsteady, and although she was able to find stage work, she was often unemployed. She later recalled going four days without food, and said that it had taught her "the value of a dollar". She found work in radio and was soon in demand, often working on several programs in a single day. She believed that it offered her excellent training and allowed her to develop her voice to create a variety of characterizations. Moorehead met actress Helen Hayes, who encouraged her to enter films, but her first attempts were met with failure. When she was rejected as not being "the right type", Moorehead returned to radio. Appeared in shows such as suspense, lux theater the inner sanctum mystery and the shadow. You may have heard Ms moorehead from episode 3 the tale of the sisters. Ms moorehead also co stared in the CBS comedy show bewitch. Ms moorehead enjoy her career until passing away on April 30th 1974 she was 74 years old. Tonight Ms moorehead comes to the show appearing in two episodes guaranteed to chill our spine in this first episode she plays a woman who is driving her husband up to a house where his clients live. but unbeknownst to her husband not only are his clients not home but he does not know that his loving wife is playing on killing them and as he is dying he is nails make a scraping noise that his wife becomes haunted by. and the title of that episode is called the thirteenth sound. and in the second episode Miss Moorhead plays a woman who is suffering with mental illness but her husband who is a doctor does not believe she has mental illness until she becomes consumed by a wallpaper at her sister-in-law's house and she believes that things are coming out of the wallpaper. and later on in the episode she is completely consumed by her mental illness. and the title of that episode is called the yellow wallpaper.
