Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, I heard Kobe Bryant had died. Which is one of those times when your brain sputters and fails to turn over like an old car trying to start on a cold winter morning. This...does not compute. It still hasn't fully sunk in; even as I see all the tributes from fans, from NBA players, from celebrities. Are we sure he is gone? I made a strong tea and hit record.
