The Prime Minister-designate, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, received yesterday evening, Sunday, the US Ambassador to Iraq, Mrs. Alina Romanowski.

The meeting witnessed discussions on bilateral relations and common interests between the two countries and ways of developing them, and the importance of working to enhance security and stability in Iraq and the region during the next stage.

The meeting also witnessed Mr. Al-Sudani\u2019s affirmation of Iraq\u2019s desire to consolidate a strategic partnership relationship with the United States by strengthening work on the Strategic Framework Agreement in its various economic, educational, cultural and political aspects and issues of facing the effects of climate change, as well as security cooperation in the field of providing support and advice to empower the security forces Iraqi.
