The\xa0National Bank of Iraq (NBI)\xa0has announced the introduction of three new banking systems.

According to Izzidin Abusalameh, Group Chief Operating Officer of\xa0Capital Bank of Jordan\xa0(majority shareholder of NBI), trade finance operations will be enhanced with the help of software from UK-based\xa0Finastra.

Additionally, both NBI and Capital Bank of Jordan have successfully implemented\xa0Transact, a core banking solution from British company\xa0Temenos.

Temenos'\xa0Payment Hub\xa0will also replace the legacy systems at NBI.\xa0
