\nAl-Sadr after the adoption of the Food Security Law: I will not compromise in revealing who is manipulating the people's power
\n\nThe leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, proposed, on Wednesday, the formation of a parliamentary oversight committee to prevent fraud in the implementation of the Food Security Law.
\nAl-Sadr said in a statement, a copy of which was received by "Nass", (June 8, 2022), that "Parliament's approval of the Food Security Law is another victory for Fustat Al-Islah. It has proven to everyone the unprecedented strength of the Iraqi parliament in the past years."
\nHowever, he added, "But the concern is all about the corrupt domination of this law and its application, so it should not be overlooked that the presence of the Sadrist bloc currently does not go beyond Parliament and does not exist in the current cabinet formation."
