The UN mission in Iraq, "UNAMI", said, Tuesday, that the missile strikes that targeted Erbil International Airport last night are among the heinous, reckless acts that pose serious threats to stability.

\n"We condemn the deadly missile attack on Erbil. Such heinous, reckless acts pose serious threats to stability. Iraq must be protected from (external) quarrels," the UN envoy, Jenin Blashart, said in a statement received by Mawazine News.

\nShe added, "We call for restraint and close cooperation between Baghdad and Erbil to bring the perpetrators to justice."

Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee set the date for voting on the 2021 budget.

\n

The committee\u2019s reporter, Ahmed Al-Saffar, said that \u201cthe committee has completed the draft budget, and is awaiting the results of the region\u2019s delegation\u2019s meetings to prepare the text for the Kurdistan quota.\u201d

\n

He suggested that "the voting session on the budget will take place during the next two days," noting that "the meetings with the Kurdistan region delegation are still continuing to reach a final agreement that satisfies all parties.
