My First Band host Tyler Maas unearthed a 2015 interview with Episode 1 guest Jon Phillip in which the drummer explains how he very nearly joined a band called Junky Muppets that was started by actor Dustin Diamond. Diamond, of course, is best-known for playing\\xa0Samuel "Screech" Powers in the popular \'90s television show Saved By The Bell, but apparently, he is also an accomplished five-string bassist.
