My guest in this episode is Steve Beswick who was the first person from Microsoft I ever met. We became firm friends and he is now a 27-year-old veteran of the company (and counting) .
Steve is married to Naomi and is the proud father of Hattie and Billy and is grandfather to 3-year-old Leon.
As well as exploring Steve’s career journey we also talk about:
· The importance of family, friends, and memories
· The delights of football, fishing, and cricket
· Seeing Dire Straits in an ice rink
· Sarah Ferguson telling 600 people he is Jim Carey.
· Meeting Margaret Thatcher with Peter Stringfellow (yes him again!)
· The importance of getting tested for Prostate Cancer
· A 7-week holiday in New Zealand with his daughter Hattie
· Becoming a Magistrate
We touched on a lot of music during our chat and this is reflected in the 64 songs included in this Spotify Playlist ( just cut and paste into your browser)
