We open with a chat with Joey Delgado, guitarist for the Delgado Brothers who took 1st place at the 2016 International Blues Challenge.  The band was unavailable during the wrap-up show, so Joey will call in and also talk about winning the Gibson Guitar award. Little Boys Blue was formed in 1993. As a duo, the group played blues clubs, festivals and competitions throughout the southeast. In 1997 they won third place in the International Blues Competition. In 2013 Dave Mallard, Mark Brooks, Alex Taylor and Dave Thomas joined the band to complete the existing lineup. We’ll talk about the new album, Bad Love, and more with the band. Bob Margolin…if you love the blues, there is little more to say.  Bob began playing with Muddy Waters at 24 years of age and toured the world over the next 7 years and then began his own band.  Bob has written about his journeys and has amassed a discography that shines.  He and I will talk about…everything and especially his new album My Road. Mississippi Bigfoot is the coming together of 5 special Memphis/Mississippi musicians…Their debut album, has taken the blues world by storm and I can’t wait to speak with the band to find out how it all came together back in the spring of 2015. Finally, Hurricane Ruth returns for a Couch Kid New Music Segment to feature her new release, the EP Winds Of Change.  Ruth and I will chat about the making of the EP and what she has on the horizon.
